CULTURE IN US

2026

Procreate at 1920 × 1080 px

  • A digital series exploring people, figures and the visual language of Nigerian Yoruba culture, drawing from my own background and connection to it.

  • The series gave me space to lean further into bolder colours, richer textures and a more expressive way of creating. Through each piece, I explored the colour, clothing, movement and sense of togetherness that can surround moments of celebration, while allowing every figure to carry their own presence and personality.

  • This became an opportunity to experiment with texture and detail, bringing together culture, community and storytelling through my visual perspective.

THE YELLOW SERIES

2026

Procreate across portrait (1320 × 2868 px and 1748 × 2480 px) and landscape (1920 × 1080 px) formats

  • This series gave me the space to develop my digital art practice, experimenting with bold colour, shadows, highlights and composition.

  • Inspired by cartoons and animation, I explored people and places through close-up and cropped perspectives, intentionally leaving parts unseen to create room for imagination and stories beyond the frame.

  • Many of the illustrations later moved beyond the screen into stationery and print, exploring how my work could take on a physical form.

AUGUST 2026

A6 Saddle Stitch Notebooks

52mm x 148mm Bookmarks

  • Designed and illustrated an exclusive collection of notebooks and bookmarks for Ara Nini Health’s Women’s Health & Finance event in London.

  • Created specifically for the event, the collection was an opportunity to take my digital illustration beyond the screen and explore how my artwork could live in a physical, published form.

  • This was an opportunity to explore publishing and stationery as another home for the illustrations, while bringing storytelling into an everyday object.
